Received my X1 and X2 pen in Indonesia! Have to pay duty for $20 but the pens is beautiful i agree with all the comment that the pen is like piece of art! I will give the X2 pen to finance as a gift and i know he will love it! Thank you so much!!

Wow! Am I excited. Just received my pens. They are amazing. Functional pens and works of art, all in the same item. I ordered the Icon Pattern, which is spectacular and the Pro, which is really neat. Received my pens in Sydney Australia!!!!! Yea!!!!!!!!!!

The Barrel and Cap was so seamless that I had a hard time figuring out how to get to the Pen. As a person that resist reading manuals, I was about to unscrew the brass screw as I thought that was the way to get to the pen. Until I read the manual. It's so cool that you cannot tell that it's a pen. Love it!! The build quality is AWESOME!!!

Today I picked up the parcel with the X1+X2 Pro pens and a few accessories. Everything is in top shape. The pens look superb! Nicely done! BTW, this delivery was in Brazil.

Hi Kevin,

just received my X2 Invert. It's a really nice object and the feeling when you have it in hand is amazing.

French post made me paid 25€ for VAT and duty but that's worth it.

Just opened my X1. I've backed a few projects that looked great in the 'sales brochure' but didn't quite meet expectations upon arrival. Happy to report this is not one of them! The machining and etching are of very high quality, and it even writes well! It's quite sturdy to use if you place the back end in your palm. Great job Kevin and thank you. I will keep an eye out for future projects of yours.

thank you Kevin! I have been carrying my invert x1 everyday with pleasure since I got it. it is indispensable. great craftsmanship. Perfect details, size, quality. most expensive pen I ever decided to buy but worth every penny. I am so glad you decided to integrate the key ring. I would not have been so drawn to your design without it. many kickstarter pens missed this important detail. I can put it on my keys, work badge or my pocket. thank you again for one of the best kickstarter projects I have backed. would like to order more pens and wouldn't hesitate to back your future projects. kudos to you and all your hard work.

Got mine today and was blown away by how much the seem between the pen and cap completely disappears and how light there are. The only suggestion I have is to the art work (it s really good) is to have some colour to let the detail stand out more. This was worth the wait.

OMG... How gorgeous and how wonderful Kevin. You have sent me a fantastically done pen. Actually two. they are gorgeous. I can't rave enough. The quality is there. The beauty is there. I cant see where the cap is till I turn it. That was never anything I was looking for or for that matter thought about. But noticed it immediately. So intricately designed. They are outstanding. If you ever do anything again I want to be on your list. I would back you in a nano second. I think this is the most wonderful thing I have gotten from KS. Thank you thank you thank you. Received my pen today (Hillier X1) and - wow! The finish on it is just surreal. I had no idea you could make a screw-on cap that seamless. I've tried unscrewing it a couple of times and screwing it back on (sometimes forcefully). The motif stays completely aligned and you cannot see where the cap begins! :-D

Time to get a store front up cos I need to get a few more for some friends.

A full size would also be interesting though I think I want an invert X2 for myself first.

Received mines today. Really like the packaging and the quote on insert (had to google the meaning). I love how seamless the pen and cap come together. I can't tell where one ends and the other begins. I am definitely interested in ordering more when they come available. Would like to pick up an X2 also. The Invert design is crazy so crazy to the artist and Kevin for making a great pen.

This pen has way exceeded my highest expectations. The fit and finish is, simply stated, superb. Love this little seamless-looking rod. It's hefty without being heavy; it has mass. Elegant, understated, but of obvious quality. Looks very expensive, and acts it, too.

Love the stealth, to anybody else, it is not a pen.

Now I'm sorry I did not also order the larger one, I'm sure it would compliment this little one.

Finally got my pen today. UK customs were holding it so I had to pay an additional £15 to get my hands on it.

All I can do is echo so many of the comments made already. The quality of manufacturing is top drawer. You really can't see the join. Feels great in the hand and writes so smoothly.

I have to say this is one of the best kickstarters I have backed. Communication was impeccable, and the product is far superior than I expected. The quality is astounding. It is my EDC as it is on my key chain and I have used it several times. The smooth twist of the cap is great. Even the packaging and design is nice and clean. It is a great product and I can't rave enough about it. Thanks!

I got mine and wow, it's worth the wait! This is exactly as promised. I know some other pen projects also claimed to have seamless caps but weren't actually seamless. See for yourself:

Got my X1 sapling yesterday! The fit and build quality is out of this world. I love having a pen on my keychain that disappears when I don't need it. The engraving is very nicely done. My only caveat is that it is already starting to rub off. Will the engraving eventually come off completely or just fade with time?

My pen (naked X1 version) came in the other day! It's already right at home on my EDC keychain, where it will live forever :)

In case anyone is wondering, the exact refill the X1 pen comes with (at least mine did) is the Ohto R-4C7NP Needle-Point Ballpoint Pen Refill - D1 - 0.7 mm (I found it at Jetpens for $1.20). Can't wait to use mine enough to need a refill! Cheers.

My pen draws comments whenever I lend it out!

Regarding wear, my engraving has smoothened and lightened a bit, but it's still very obvious. It looks like there are some dents on my pen, though. It's a hard life on my keychain...
